I’m a nanny and live in Ohio. My current family told me this past week they were putting their child in daycare. My husband and I were planning on moving to Delaware anyway, so now our timeline is moved up. I’ve created a profile for looking into jobs for Delaware, but how can I get families to contact me knowing that I’m not living there yet? I put in my introduction that we are moving to Delaware. I have moved for nanny jobs before.

Hi, as an employer, I have hired people who were not local at the time. I suggest you make it clear in the ad that you are not in town just yet and offer video interviews (like google hangouts) to prospective employers and you should be fine!
Do you have a timeline on when you’re expecting to move to Delaware? It could help if you can provide families with an expected time frame.
